Photo: IKA\/Culinary Olympics<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Vegetables, fruits, butter, chocolate, sugar \u2013 from all these things, the food artists and cutting virtuosos at the IKA\/Culinary Olympics 2020 are creating unique and eatable artworks and sculptures. There is talk of the individual exhibitors and live carvers. In the last years, visitors could marvel at animals, flower ornaments, phantasy constructs and even modelled politicians. Because of the filigree way of working in this category, where cuisine meets art, special tact is necessary.<\/p>\n<p>Chefs form 70 nations are coming to Stuttgart to be part of this Olympic spectacle. While the teams are fighting in a group on the four competition days from 15 to 18 February 2020, the Individual Exhibitors and Live Carvers have to fight for themselves. They can compete in six different competitions.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4 class=\"upcse\">Category:<\/h4>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-1657\" src=\"https:\/\/www.olympiade-der-koeche.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/10\/Icon_Einzel_368x100_EN-300x82.png\" alt=\"Icon Einzel 368x100 En\" width=\"400\" height=\"109\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.olympiade-der-koeche.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/10\/Icon_Einzel_368x100_EN-300x82.png 300w, https:\/\/www.olympiade-der-koeche.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/10\/Icon_Einzel_368x100_EN.png 368w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Competitions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Individual classic fruit and vegetable carving (K1)<\/li>\n<li>Individual classic fruit and vegetable carving displays (K2)<\/li>\n<li>Individual live artistic fruit and vegetable carving (K3)<\/li>\n<li>Artistic sculptures (Category D)<\/li>\n<li>Individual Culinary Art<\/li>\n<li>Individual Pastry Art<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The individual exhibitors\u2019 and live carvers\u2019 artistic pieces and sculptures can be visited during the opening hours of the INTERGASTRA, which takes place in parallel to the IKA\/Culinary Olympics. The opening hours are between 10 am and 6 pm. In the Individual Exhibitors\u2019 category, on every day of the competition, the participants will be awarded medals or certificates. The medals or certificates will be awarded based on the same scoring system used for the teams. An additional prize will be presented if the total number of points is attained \u2013 called \u201cGold with distinction\u201d.<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-1' class='gallery galleryid-1761
