Once again, over 2,000 chefs from more than 60 nations will participate in culinary competitions, which will take place from 14<sup>th<\/sup> to 19<sup>th<\/sup> February in Stuttgart. VKD President, Andreas Becker, is looking forward to this event with great anticipation: \u201cThose of us living the tradition, must also look towards the future. In this 25<sup>th<\/sup> edition of the IKA\/Culinary Olympics we venture into new territory, while retaining our old strengths \u2013 the ones that shaped our association and the team competitions.\u201d Once more, the VKD was able to procure renowned partners who actively support and look forward to the upcoming edition of this culinary super event. These include <em>MKN<\/em>, the German specialist for thermal professional kitchen technology and exclusive partner of the IKA\/Culinary Olympics. Other confirmed sponsors are <em>Metro<\/em>, Germany\u2019s leading wholesale establishment, <em>Cool Compact<\/em>, Germany\u2019s largest manufacturer of professional refrigeration appliances and equipment, <em>Edgar Fuchs GmbH<\/em>, a supplier of planning, configuration and implementation services for gastronomy projects, as well as the porcelain manufacturer <em>RAK Porcelain<\/em>, which was developed specifically for the requirements of upscale gastronomic outlets.<\/p>\n<p>The IKA\/Culinary Olympics is an event where chefs from every corner of the world meet. From young chefs to executive chefs, they will all be under the scrutiny of the jury while creating experiential, unique culinary miracles. During the competitions, the jury will not only evaluate the taste and presentation of the dishes, but also the overall work organisation and time management.
