Charlotte and Cederic, an older couple, accompany the Swiss national culinary team at the IKA/Culinary Olympics. During the days of competition, chef Thomas disappears from earth. Cederic has to step in and act as replacement and Charlotte embarks on a search for the missing.
This time Erfurt isn’t the place of this fictional story, where every four years the IKA/Culinary Olympics take place, but Edinburgh. The reason is that the author Christine Bonvin is an avid connoisseur of Scotland. In the novel she picked up tips and suggestions from the German Chefs Association and the former Swiss national team captain Kilian Michlig. Each chapter ends with recipes, provided by the Swiss Chefs Association.
